Commiseration

Sunday, 10th September, 2006

Every once in a while I visit phpguru.org, however this morning I was shocked to see his lastest post.

I’ve never met Richard but have noticed his contributions to the PHP community on several occasions, I’ve written plenty of projects using his templating class as a base for my own. He worked at Web-Ideas before I joined them in 2004 so most of the developers I worked with knew him and spoke positively about him on occasion.

Here’s hoping the PHP Guru makes a speedy recovery!

Scoble leaves MS & Intel creep below $17 :(

Tuesday, 13th June, 2006

Just as I was quickly checking Intel’s share price before bed I spotted a link on Google finance that Scoble has quit MS! I was most surprised, though I don’t frequent his blog as much as I once did.

Talking of Intel’s share price it’s now below $17! :(

I bought some stock back when it slid to $19 thinking that was good value for money, and again when it touched $18 but it just keeps on sliding… I pray Conroe is enough to curb the downward trend.

The benchmarks look promising (still waiting for independent results though) and Apple are shipping Intel notebooks, this has gotta be good right? Still undecided if its worth buying more

First Post!

Well I’m liking this a lot more already, glad I ditched Moveable Type, that system just didn’t feel right. I’ve just gotta start using this now which is what I didn’t do with MV :)
